The role requires a strong understanding of Master Data Management principles, SAP S/4HANA data structures, and data governance frameworks. The individual will be responsible for ensuring high data quality, supporting business processes, and enabling accurate reporting and analytics by maintaining a robust and scalable master data environment. Responsibilities Master Data Governance And Operations <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Manage end-to-end master data lifecycle including creation, maintenance, validation, and deactivation</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Ensure adherence to defined data governance policies, standards, and approval workflows</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Establish and maintain system of record and ownership for master data entities.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure consistency across regions and systems</li> </ul> Data Quality And Controls <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Define and enforce data quality standards and validation rules</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Monitor data quality metrics and implement remediation plans</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Perform data cleansing, harmonization, and standardization activities</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Ensure compliance with audit and control requirements</li> </ul> Process And Continuous Improvement <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Design and optimize master data processes (create/update workflows, approvals, integrations)</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvement</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Support implementation of new governance models (centralized, hybrid, or distributed)</li> </ul> Technology And Systems <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Work with SAP S/4HANA master data objects (Business Partner, GL, Vendor, Customer)</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Support MDM tool evaluation, implementation, and enhancements</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Collaborate with IT teams for system integrations and data architecture</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Ensure proper configuration of workflows, approval processes, and audit trails</li> </ul> Stakeholder And Client Management <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Act as the point of contact for business users on master data issues Provide guidance and training to users on data standards and processes Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT teams for cross-functional alignment</li> </ul> Functional And Technical skills Functional Skills <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Strong understanding of finance master data (GL, cost centres, vendors, customers)</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience with data governance frameworks and operating models</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Ability to manage global stakeholders and work in a matrix environment</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities</li> </ul> Technical Skills <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (Business Partner, Finance master data)</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Knowledge of MDM tools, workflows, and data models</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Understanding of data quality frameworks and data lifecycle management</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Exposure to data migration, data cleansing, and integration processes</li> </ul> Qualifications And Experience <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">B. Com / M.
