Bachelor or higher degree, major in logistics, business administration or international trade is <br>preferred <br>b. Has 10+ years working experience in logistics operation (warehouse, transportation, import and <br>export) with minimum 5 years as supervisor or manager. <br>c. Good English speaking and writing <br>d. Good windows office skill (excel, word, PPT, etc.) <br>e. Has SAP experience is preferred <br>f. Compliance, hard working with strong responsibility <br>g. Good team leader and player, open and self-driven. </p> <p> <br><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <p><br>a. Manage the Distribution Center warehouse, in our Bangalore plant, including the daily operation <br>(receiving, storage, shipping, return & scrap, etc.,), security, system (SAP & KIS) and 5S. <br>b. The Distribution center manager is also responsible for managing the operations of the Central <br>Stores for Bangalore Mfg Plants (Raw Material/Consumables/Packaging/Spares) and the Vender <br>Cell. <br>c. Lead whole warehouse team and manage their performance, training, hiring and dismissing. <br>d. Manage the import, export and local delivery to customers in India. <br>e. Manage the logistics vendor performance for 3PL warehouse, brokers, local and corporate <br>carriers. <br>f. Responsible for the warehouse budget planning and actual spending. <br>g. Responsible for the best safety, EHS and trade compliance of warehouse and logistics in India. <br>h. Closely follow and work with corporate and regional logistics team. <br>i. Closely interact with internal (Mfg plant, Sales, CSR, QA, Finance, Legal, EHS, HR) and external <br>stakeholders (customs, customers, suppliers, suppliers, etc.,) as logistics leader in India. <br>j. Main KPI (include but not limited): Safety, On time Delivery, Productivity (line processed <br>/hour/operator), Quality (error per million lines shipped), Cost (actual spending vs Plan), Stock <br>accuracy (cycle count bin accuracy). </p> <p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline"><span style="font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="color:black">As part of our core values, Kennametal is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all people.
