About this role
<p>Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.</p> <p><strong>You can look forward to these exciting tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the design and industrialization of production facilities for the manufacturing of Li-ion battery packs (high-voltage storage) and modules for the automation, PLC & traceability sector</li> <li>Creation of project-specific requirement specifications for production facilities (focus on PLC and traceability)<br>Conducting system discussions with equipment suppliers, as well as preparing, executing, and documenting preliminary and final acceptance tests for automation and process data acquisition, including traceability, and tracking all open points</li> <li>Responsible for implementing a standardized PLC, process, and machine data acquisition structure, including traceability, which represents the process flow step by step, is flexibly expandable and adaptable, and takes into account the rework process and NOK handling</li> <li>Conducting lessons learned for topics related to process and machine data acquisition structure (focus on PLC and traceability)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>This is what you bring to us:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completed engineering degree (e.g., information technology, automation technology, or similar)</li> <li>Initial professional experience in project business in the field of automation technology for highly automated production lines is desirable; experience in the production of Li-ion battery packs and modules is advantageous</li> <li>Programming skills in Siemens TIA Portal (HMI and PLC) and additional programming skills (e.g., Python, C#, C++, etc.) are desirable</li> <li>Team player, solution-oriented hands-on mentality with entrepreneurial thinking, self-organization, as well as strong communication skills and presentation talent</li> <li>Very good English skills and willingness to travel internationally</li> </ul> <p> </p><p>Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.</p> <p><b>Your contact person:</b><br> Martin Czembor, People & Organization Stockdorf, Schierling </p> <p>Get to know us <a href="https://www.webasto.com/en-int/career.html">here</a> and find out why we are passionate about attracting talent to Webasto.<br> We look forward to receiving your online application!</p>
