Work type: Permanent. You’ll be working 37 hours per week. Out of hours, weekend working, and bank holidays will be worked as part of a structured stand-by rota. Once fully trained you will be assessed for working on your own and you will be required to participate in an out of hours standby rota which will include evenings, weekends, and overnight callouts. Where you fit in: As a Warehouse Operative within Yorkshire Water, you will be responsible for the coordination of consignments and maintenance packs for onward delivery to site and be expected to understand stock levels of maintenance parts and critical spares to ensure economic levels are maintained. In this role, you’ll demonstrate relentless drive, energy and determination to deliver sustainable outperformance for Yorkshire Water that rigorously achieves against demanding competitive industry benchmarks. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate financial awareness when making day to day business decisions and be responsible for the support of the co-ordinated output of the logistics team. You’ll work closely with the Warehouse Team Leader and the Warehouse Coordinator providing general administrative support where required as well as training and developing new starters.
