The Opportunity
This position works at Ankara in the Core Diagnostics Division that we’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.
Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
What you will do
• Drive growth by expanding existing accounts, winning new business, and leveraging cross-functional collaboration (e.g., Enterprise Team) to unlock opportunities • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, ensuring value proposition is clearly communicated and solutions are effectively implemented • Ensure team develops and executes a robust annual strategic growth plan at the territory level, aligned with regional targets for sales, margin, and sustainable business growth • Spend the majority of time in the field conducting joint visits, providing hands-on coaching, strengthening execution quality, and effectively leading sales and promotion activities • Translate strategic priorities (sales performance, contract management, value expansion, new business acquisition, renewal rates, and profitability) into clear action plans and ensure disciplined follow-up and delivery • Monitor account performance, forecast accuracy, and pipeline health; proactively identify gaps and drive corrective actions to achieve plan commitments • Lead and develop the team through continuous coaching, performance reviews, and opportunity management to maximize business outcomes and customer impact • Ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty by supporting solution implementation, addressing customer feedback (e.g., NPS), and reinforcing post-sales excellence • Effectively manage business partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements • Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture by leveraging local expertise and encouraging knowledge sharing across the organization
Qualifications
• University graduate with a strong command of English • Minimum 8 years of proven sales and experience in the diagnostics industry, with a strong track record in managing day-to-day operations, expansion, and improving account profitability • Strong engagement experience with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, key buyers, and decision-makers • Solid understanding of the healthcare and diagnostics sector, including changing market dynamics, key competitors, terminology, challenges, and potential local regulations • Proven experience in team management, with a strong ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams towards achieving ambitious business objectives and sustaining high performance • Strong coaching mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive team performance • No travel restrictions, able to reside in Ankara
