About this role

<ul> <li>Major Responsibilities<br>- As a professional, carry out all activities related to profession in accordance with BV<br>code of ethics and confidentiality requirements.<br>- To conduct audits in accordance Bureau Veritas Management System and BVC<br>India Operations Manual.<br>- To keep self updated with latest regulatory requirements &amp; technologies pertaining<br>to sectors/ schemes under audit.<br>- To manage time effectively throughout entire audit cycle – From planning to<br>reporting.<br>- In the role as auditor (team member), to cooperate and coordinate with audit team<br>leader during the audit.<br>- In the role as lead auditor (team leader), manage the team in a effective manner.<br>- To report / inform reporting line / back-office / team leader for any unexpected<br>situation faced during the audit. (Examples – less time available for audit against<br>planned due to situations beyond control, audit cancellation, any dispute during the<br>audit on finding etc.)<br>- To follow the schedules informed and confirmed by back-office/ client.<br>- To maintain &amp; protect assets of company – laptop and other accessories and any<br>other.<br>- To submit Travel &amp; Expenses (T&amp;E) statements in timely manner.<br>- To adhere to terms and conditions agreed at the time of acceptance of appointment<br>letter.<br>- Ready for frequent travel<br>- Remain abreast of changes in the relevant areas, as well as developments in norms<br>and regulations<br>- Maintain and share knowledge and skills<br>- Contribute to developing business by providing leads</li> <li>Roles &amp; Responsibilities for HSE<br>- Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.<br>- To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc.<br>and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable<br>- To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.<br>- Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work<br>practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.<br>- Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects<br>- Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well<br>as Group HSSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health, security, safety<br>and environment and workmen employment.<br>- Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSSE<br>Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 &amp; ISO 45001 standards) within<br>his/ her Region/Location/Team<br>- Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety of their own, colleagues<br>and others working surroundings.<br>- Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and<br>incidents found related to Health, Security, Safety and Environment</li> <li>Qualification and Experience<br>- Any Graduate Engineer / Diploma Engineer<br>- Minimum 12 yrs of work experience<br>- 1 years experience in leadership position<br>- Basic training and technical knowledge in relevant field completed by satisfying the<br>competence requirements of the BMS<br>- Conversant with the terminology and the principles of the relevant standards<br>- Successfully completed a registered lead auditor course based on reference<br>standard<br>- Has taken part (as a provisional Auditor) in the required number of audits specified<br>for in the BMS<br>- External lead assessor authorisation</li> </ul>
