<p>Closing date: <br>Number of positions: 1<br>Recruiter name: Nitya Pillai <br>Reference number: 66322 <br><span id="cke_bm_1564S" style="display:none"> </span></p> <p>Mediclinic Ibn Battuta | Dubai | United Arab Emirates</p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB</b></H2> </div><div><p>To provide clinical psychology services in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS</b></H2> </div><div><p>Conducts detailed psychological assessments using<br> standardized tools and clinical interviews</p> <p>Formulates referral questions and selects appropriate<br> psychometric measures.</p> <p>Analyses data to formulate clinical impressions and<br> diagnoses.</p> <p>Prepares structured psychological reports for clinical<br> teams and stakeholders.</p> <p>Develops action plans based on evaluation outcomes.<br> Develops and implements individualized treatment<br> plans using evidence-based psychotherapies.</p> <p>Delivers psychotherapy across modalities (e.g., CBT,<br> ACT, DBT, brief therapy).</p> <p>Continuously monitors progress and adjusts<br> interventions accordingly.</p> <p>Ensures cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care<br> in all interventions.</p> <p>Facilitates group therapy, family sessions, and<br> psychoeducation where appropriate.</p> <p>Collaborate with fertility specialists and genetic<br> counsellors to ensure consistent and empathetic<br> delivery of difficult information. (Applicable to IVF only)</p> <p>Support patients in understanding implications of<br> adverse findings, including risk communication.</p> <p>Participates in MDT meetings and case discussions to<br> support integrated care.</p> <p>Provides consultative input to physicians, nurses, and<br> other healthcare professionals.</p> <p>Refers patients to other services when clinically<br> indicated.</p> <p>Recognizes own professional limitations and seeks<br> guidance when required.</p> <p>Supports organizational policies and legal frameworks<br> in decision-making.</p> <p>Maintains clear, accurate, and timely clinical records in<br> line with legal and institutional standards.</p> <p>Ensures confidentiality and compliance with regulatory<br> policies.</p> <p>Records relevant coding and documentation for<br> insurance and billing.</p> <p>Reports irregularities or record-keeping discrepancies. •<br> Participates in internal audits and quality assurance<br> activities.</p> <p>Demonstrates commitment to ethical practice and<br> client welfare.</p> <p>Identifies and resolves ethical dilemmas in a timely,<br> principled manner.</p> <p>Maintains professional boundaries and respects client<br> autonomy.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>REQUIRED EDUCATION</b></H2> </div><div><p>Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited university</p> <p>Certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychometrics, or similar specialized therapeutic approaches. Continuing professional development in advanced clinical methods or neuropsychological assessment</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE</b></H2> </div><div><p>Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in psychological assessment and intervention. Experience in delivering psychotherapy across different modalities and patient demographics.</p> <p>Experience in a hospital or multidisciplinary clinical setting is highly desirable.
