Starting Pay Range $19.00 - $22.00 - HourlyDepending on experience
Job Description: Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provide direct support and care to students.
• Responsible for intervening with students’ behavioral and emotional concerns.
• Support the students using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Support students in improving their communication skills, social skills, school readiness and self-management skills.
• Learn specialized behavior techniques and implement behavioral strategies under the guidance of the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with the students’ families, teachers, and other professionals.
• Maintain records and documentation of student progress and adhere to prescribed behavioral plans.
• Attend required training and staff meetings.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Ability to connect with students.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, technology, and softwares such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to travel to various locations.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, General Education or a related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with students is preferred.
• Working towards ABA, BIS, or RBT Certification is a plus.
