The opportunity As a Carbon Capture Chemistry and Operations Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting carbon capture research within CSIRO’s Carbon Capture Materials Acceleration Centre (CCMAC). You’ll work closely with scientists and engineers to prepare and test materials, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and support the day-to-day running of experimental activities. This is a practical, lab-based role where you’ll contribute directly to experiments, troubleshoot issues, and help keep systems and equipment running efficiently. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team spanning early-career researchers through to highly experienced scientists and engineers, working together to deliver real-world outcomes in carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS).
