The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant with strong NetSuite experience to join a growing, fast-moving SME. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across both financial reporting and operational finance — driving process improvements and supporting real business decisions.
You'll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting while improving systems, controls, and insight across the business.
What You'll Be Doing Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and clear, business-friendly commentarySupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planningAnalyse cost and product data to inform investment decisionsWork alongside operational teams to provide financial insight that drives better decisionsHelp leaders understand performance, opportunities, and risksLead and refine the month-end close processOversee day-to-day finance operations across AP, AR, inventory, and revenue recognitionGet the most out of our NetSuite ERP — reporting, dashboards, and smarter ways of workingIdentify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improveSafeguard data integrity and internal controlsSupport year-end audit, statutory reporting, regulatory filings, and tax submissionsResearch technical accounting matters and ensure alignment with current standardsDocument business processes and accounting policies as we scaleProvide payroll reconciliation cover across our entitiesPartner with the Head of Finance on financial risk management strategy What You'll Bring A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, or CIMA)Around 5+ years in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a management or financial accountant roleStrong hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP — this is essentialA background in SMEs, with broad, hands-on responsibilities across the finance functionExposure to e-commerce, drop shipping, manufacturing, or inventory-led businesses is a genuine advantageConfident across AP/AR, stock, and revenue flowsExperience supporting more than one entity and multi-country jurisdictionsStrong Excel and Power Query skills, with confidence across the wider Microsoft suiteComfortable picking up and switching between tools, including leading AI platformsAnalytical and detail-focused, with the bigger picture always in mindA clear communicator who can translate finance for non-finance colleagues What's on Offer Salary of £55,000 depending on skills and experience25 days' annual leave plus a day off for your birthday, with the option to purchase up to 10 additional daysFlexible working hours and locations, with the choice to work from home or the officeCompany pension (4% employer, 5% employee contribution)Healthcare cash back planCycle to work scheme and tech purchase programmeOne paid charity day per year Prodigi is an equal opportunities employer that values diversity and inclusion
