This is an opportunity to join one of the first specialist industrial door companies with over 50 years of trading history. We install and repair a wide range of equipment including industrial doors, personnel doors, gates, barriers and loading equipment.
We are an “Investors in People” company and have achieved “Silver” accreditation, fully recognising the importance of training and development. In addition, we have achieved “ISO 9001” and “Safe Contractor” accreditation and are members of the Door and Hardware Federation.
We operate locally with over 20 teams operating out of local depots in Milton Keynes, Kettering, Peterborough and Rugby. The majority of work taking place within 30 miles of the depots.
The Role
Operating mainly in teams of two, the position is that of Trainee Industrial Door Engineer installing, repairing and servicing of industrial doors, loading bay and access equipment.
This role would suit someone with transferable mechanical skills with a desire to progress in a field engineer environment.
Training period expected to be between three and nine months.
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with overtime as required.
We also operate a 24-hr emergency call out rota which you are required to be part of once the training period is passed – currently 1 week in 10. An additional standby fee, call out fee and overtime is paid.
