The Digital Services Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust digital service solutions that enhance the organization's technological capabilities. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and secure services while adhering to industry best practices and standards.

Design and develop digital service solutions using modern programming languages and frameworksAnalyze technical requirements and translate them into efficient, organized system architecturesDevelop and maintain APIs and web services that integrate seamlessly with existing systemsTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues with precision and attention to detailImplement and optimize database solutions to ensure reliable data managementCollaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutionsConduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure code meets organizational standardsMonitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategiesDocument technical specifications, processes, and solutions in a clear and organized mannerParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practicesSupport deployment activities and ensure smooth integration of new services into production environmentsStay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in digital services WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Associates degree in Engineering or related fieldStrong proficiency in at least one programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar)Hands-on experience with Siemens TIA Portal and industrial automation platformsProficiency in TIA Portal programming languages (SCL, LAD, or STL)Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. B.S. degree in Engineering or related field At least 3 years of professional software development or engineering experienceAdvanced expertise with Siemens TIA Portal engineering tools and project structuresExperience with Siemens S7-1200, S7-1500, or similar PLC systemsKnowledge of industrial control systems and automation protocols (PROFINET, PROFIBUS)Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT and industrial PC (IPC) automation solutionsExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principlesFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools THE PERKS
