Role Description
We're looking for a Marketing Manager (a.k.a. Digital Marketer) to help us scale awareness, optimize our website funnel, and drive lead acquisition through campaigns, SEO, email, and partnerships. This role is perfect for someone who gets B2B marketing, understands the buying behavior of startup founders and hiring managers, and knows how to turn strategic initiatives into real, measurable growth.
As our Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for growing our visibility and driving high-quality inbound leads across multiple channels including website, email, blog, SEO, and paid campaigns. You'll work closely with our founder and internal team to develop and execute campaigns that support lead magnets, new service offerings, and broader brand growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable owning both strategy and execution especially in early-stage startup environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Campaign Strategy Own and manage lead magnet campaigns (e.g., salary guides, checklists, industry reports) Build landing pages and conversion funnels for marketing campaigns Collaborate with internal teams on marketing calendar and launch plans Website Optimization (CRO & Content) Audit the site to improve conversion rates, page speed, CTAs, and lead forms Write or manage writers for SEO blog content (targeting B2B keywords) Coordinate with designers or developers for updates to landing pages or blog layouts SEO Strategy & Content Planning Conduct keyword research for high-intent traffic from founders/hiring managers Manage and execute blog content strategy (weekly/monthly posting cadence) Track and optimize site rankings and backlinks for visibility Email Marketing & CRM Set up nurture sequences for inbound leads Segment email lists by customer type and behavior Manage monthly newsletters, founder updates, and value-driven content Performance Marketing (Optional) Launch paid ads on LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, and Google if skilled Create custom audiences and run retargeting campaigns Monitor and report on cost-per-lead, conversions, and ROI Partnerships, Influencers & Affiliates Identify and activate strategic affiliate or content partners Manage influencer collaborations and co-marketing opportunities Coordinate marketing materials and tracking links Reporting & Optimization Monitor campaign analytics and adjust strategy based on performance Create monthly reports on traffic, leads, conversions, and ROI A/B test content, CTAs, landing pages, and formats
Qualifications
3+ years of digital marketing or growth marketing experience, ideally for B2B or service-based businesses Proven experience in lead generation, funnel building, and marketing automation Strong grasp of SEO, landing page strategy, and email segmentation Experience working with startups or fast-moving marketing teams Familiar with tools like Google Analytics, MailerLite, Webflow, LinkedIn Ads, Ahrefs, or similar Excellent communication and project management skills
