The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of PE to join our thriving 11-18 all-girls school. You will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3-5, supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential while fostering a lifelong passion for physical education. The role involves planning and delivering an ambitious curriculum, assessing progress effectively, and contributing to a culture of high expectations, positive behaviour, and inclusive practice.

As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking faculty, you will play a key role in shaping teaching and learning, contributing to curriculum development and wider school life, including extracurricular activities and pastoral support. About YouYou are a passionate and reflective teacher with Qualified Teacher Status and the ability to deliver engaging PE lessons across secondary phases. You bring strong subject knowledge, effective classroom practice, and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND and EAL. You are committed to evidence-informed teaching and have a clear understanding of assessment, curriculum, and current educational developments.

You are a proactive team player who is dedicated to improving outcomes for young people and committed to equality, inclusion, and safeguarding. With excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, you are resilient, ambitious, and motivated to continuously develop your practice. Above all, you share our commitment to empowering young women and contributing to a supportive, collaborative school culture where both staff and students can thrive.
