The Role
New Road Nursery is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, and energetic Early Years Assistant to support our senior nursery staff in delivering high-quality education and care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the educational, physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of all children within the setting.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Ideally, hold (or be working towards) an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years Education Have recent experience working with young children Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Understand the role of the adult in supporting children’s learning and development Be an effective team player with strong communication skills Be flexible, adaptable, and responsive to the needs of the nursery
