About this role
Grade: Start Contract: Permanent, term time (38 weeks), part time
Hours of Work: Teatime Club: 3:15pm - 6:00pm. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Applications will be considered from candidates who are unable to work every day
We wish to appoint two Qualified Playworkers with a recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare for our Teatime Club.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Implementing a varied, stimulating and exciting range of activities that meet the children’s developmental needs Ensuring the facility is ready for use, by setting up and clearing away Working as part of a highly motivated and professional team Establishing positive relationships with children and their familiesWorking in close partnership with all school staff and support the whole school ethosThe ideal candidate will be able to:
adhere to and promote all school policiessafeguard children and promote health and safetypromote good practise in a professional and inclusive mannerMaintain a close liaison with class teachers in order to be aware of and respond appropriately to the needs of all children in your caretake responsibility for personal professional development, including participation in own annual appraisal, any necessary training, and keeping abreast of all current issues relating to providing this serviceQualifications Required:
