You’ll have previous experience of:
Working with SEND children and families Working and engaging with SEND parents, carers or guardians, children or individuals through individual and/or group-based support Working in an educational or outreach environment Working effectively with social and emotional factors affecting a child’s capacity to learn Working with families from diverse communities Working with social care and other agencies Safeguarding and attendance procedures and policies
Some of the ways in which you will take an active role to support our students to achieve the best outcomes include:
Identifying and reducing barriers to engagement and learning Monitoring attendance and punctuality Signposting parents and carers to support and services Taking an active role in parent workshops and training Working in partnership with other agencies
