About this role
A level 3-qualified teaching assistant (or equivalent experience), with good literacy and numeracy skills. Experienced in working with children and confident in planning or leading teaching and learning activities under supervision. Skilled at building strong, respectful relationships with pupils, colleagues and families. Knowledgeable about how to adapt learning to meet individual needs and experienced in supporting pupils to access the curriculum. Calm under pressure, organised and able to use observation and assessment to inform practice. Committed to safeguarding, confidentiality and promoting inclusion and equality for all pupils. Have additional training such as bilingual support, sign language, ICT specialism, ELSA qualifications — or a willingness to undertake further professional development.
