Avanti Grange Secondary School is seeking to appoint a reliable and organised Science Technician to support the delivery of practical science across our school.

What will you do?
Prepare equipment and materials for lessons, maintain laboratories and preparation roomsProvide practical support to the Science Department on a day-to-day basis.All technical work is carried out in accordance with CLEAPSS guidance and COSHH regulations.Build effective professional relationships across the school community.What are we looking for?
Knowledgeable in health and safety practice, COSHH regulations and CLEAPSS guidance as they apply to laboratory work Accurate and methodical, with strong attention to detail Able to manage a varied workload and respond calmly to changing priorities A confident communicator, able to work effectively with teaching staff and pupils Committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people
