Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with Blackwater CP School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Class Teacher for Year 5/6.. Blackwater CP School is in a beautiful, rural setting close to the city of Truro with excellent facilities and easy access to the most wonderful outdoor learning environments. We have a fantastic Wild Area where skills and knowledge are taught to support the children to become well-rounded and empathetic individuals. Our aim is to foster independent and curious learners who are able and willing to make a positive contribution to our community and society.About You:The position is a part time post, who will be part of the mixed Year 5 and 6 team on Mondays and Tuesdays.You will have a child-centred approach, and will provide a creative, inclusive and challenging curriculum which inspires and motivates children and supports high quality teaching and learning both indoors and out.Individuals must demonstrate an understanding of high quality teaching and learning, as well as an understanding of how to support children with additional needs to enable them to learn effectively.
