We are looking for a SENDCO to work two days a week - one day in Greens Norton Primary School and one day at Welford Sibbertoft and Sulby, Endowed School.
As SENCO, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality SEND provision, ensuring that all pupils with additional needs receive the support and guidance required to thrive. Working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies, you will provide strategic leadership and drive forward our inclusive ethos.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be willing to work towards it).Have experience in supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs across primary age groups.Be able to work flexibly, prioritising where neededDemonstrate a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching approaches.Be able to support teaching staff to formulate, implement, and review SEN Support Plans effectively.
