About this role
This is a pivotal role within the school, working closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure the effective leadership and management of the school’s financial, operational and administrative functions.
You will play a key role in ensuring that resources, systems, and services are efficient, compliant, and fully aligned to support school improvement and the best possible outcomes for our children.
The role includes day-to-day management of a team of three support staff, ensuring high standards, clear accountability, and strong operational delivery.
You will lead on:
Strategic financial planning, budgeting, and resource managementOversee administration, HR processes, compliance and operational systemsSupport the management and development of the school site, premises and health & safety proceduresOperational leadership across administration, estates, and support servicesDevelopment of efficient, compliant systems and processesProcurement, contract management, and value for moneyCompliance, risk management, and statutory requirementsEnsure policies and procedures are up to date and implemented effectivelyManage HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and staff recordsPromote high standards of professionalism, efficiency and customer service across the school communityWork collaboratively with staff, governors, families, external agencies and the Local Authority
