About this role

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Associate Professor OR Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Proteomics and Director of the Proteomics Core within UCD School of Medicine and UCD Conway Institute.

Applications are invited for an Associate Professor OR Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Proteomics, who will also act as the Conway Proteomics Core Director at UCD Conway Institute, with an academic home at the UCD School of Medicine.

The appointee will provide transformative leadership in the field of proteomics. The successful candidate will lead a high-impact research program, secure significant external funding, and oversee the strategic evolution of the proteomics infrastructure within the UCD Conway Institute. The appointee will report day-to-day to the UCD Conway Director, working closely with the UCD Conway Directorate.

95 Associate Professor (7941): €85,864 - €121,260 per annum

OR

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943): €66,055 - €104,600 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
