About the Role We are seeking a Part-Time postdoctoral research assistant to join the group of Dr Mirjana Efremova in the Centre for Cancer Evolution, to investigate epigenetic regulators driving colorectal cancer progression using patient-derived organoids. Our laboratory uses various approaches including patient-derived organoids, single-cell multiomics and spatial transcriptomics data to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms promoting cancer initiation, metastasis and therapy resistance in gastrointestinal cancers. We offer a vibrant and creative multidisciplinary environment, and the successful candidate will be supported to develop their scientific career and have an impact in the field of cancer cell plasticity. About You We are looking for a talented and highly motivated scientist with a PhD in a relevant biological subject (or is close to completion). Significant research laboratory experience in cell and molecular biology, tissue culture and epigenomics techniques is essential. Experience in working with genomics data would be advantageous. The post holder should have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
