Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
Main duties of the job As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, stepping in for the Manager as required, ensuring high standards of care for residents. Your responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will also be advising families of residents and GPs about any changes in conditions that cause concern, keeping them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the duty period and residents receive the required care. To be successful, candidates must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration, demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience in care, and possess up-to-date knowledge supported by relevant qualifications. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities, along with sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application, are essential.

Qualifications Essential
Must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
