Job summary
We are a large friendly, supportive and progressive training practice, operating in spacious and modern premises at the heart of Putney, South West London with great transport links to London and surrounding areas. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, driven, hardworking and organised individual to join our clinical team for 4/5 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job
Deliver safe, evidence-based care to registered patients
Manage a balanced and appropriate clinical workload
Participate in clinical governance and team meetings
Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Our clinical team includes 23 GPs, 4 physician associates, 4 nurses, 3 HCAs, 4 pharmacists

Job PurposeTo provide high-quality, patient-centered primary medical care to the registered population, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and efficient services in line with current clinical guidelines and contractual requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
Provide routine, urgent, and same-day consultations (face-to-face and/or remote as required).
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in accordance with evidence-based practice.
Prescribe medications safely and appropriately in line with prescribing guidelines.
Provide appropriate referrals to secondary care and other services.
Undertake home visits where clinically necessary.
Deliver preventative care, including health promotion and screening.
Clinical Governance
Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement activities.
Contribute to significant event analysis and learning reviews.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with GMC standards.
Participate in safeguarding processes and mandatory training.
Team Working
Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.
Participate in clinical meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.
Support trainees, medical students, or other learners where applicable.
Professional Responsibilities
Maintain full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Participate in appraisal and revalidation processes.
Keep up to date with clinical knowledge and professional development.
