Main duties of the job
In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse patient population, managing a wide range of acute and long-term conditions within a general practice setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care while also contributing to service development and quality improvement within the practice.

Salaried GP key responsibilities include:
Undertaking clinical consultations, both face-to-face and remote, for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients appropriately, including prescribing and referral where necessary Providing ongoing care for patients with long-term conditions, ensuring continuity and holistic management Maintaining accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate medical records Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support coordinated patient care Participating in practice meetings, clinical governance activities, and service development initiatives Contributing to quality improvement, audit, and patient safety processes Supporting the practices commitment to education, including involvement in training and mentoring where appropriatePractice Responsibilities
Teamwork & Collaboration
Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team including GPs, GP trainees, ANPs, ACPs, pharmacists, nurses, HCAs, and administrative staff Actively participate in weekly practice meetings and LTIs Contribute to case discussions, shared learning, and continuous service development Provide clinical leadership, advice, and support to colleagues as appropriateEnhanced Services, IIF & QOF
Support delivery of QOF, IIF, and locally commissioned services Play an active role in chronic disease management and population health initiatives Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement, and data quality processesGovernance & Compliance
