Job summary
The post of full-time Team Administrator is required in the Mental Health Liaison Service (MHLS). This is part of the Urgent Care Team for Mental Health Services in Bolton and is a fast paced, expanding, friendly team based at the Royal Bolton Hospital for Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. The team is the first port of call for service users attending the A&E dept. who are currently in mental health crisis requiring emergency assessment, the team operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and consists of Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologist, mental health practitioners, health care support workers as well as a small admin team.

Main duties of the job
To support the Senior Medical Administrator in providing a comprehensive administrative service to the clinical teams within the Mental Health Liaison Service, Bolton Directorate.
The Team Administrator will undertake general office duties. They will answer and manage calls from service users and their carers / relatives and other health and social care professionals. They will enter new referrals and process completed referrals / assessments on the Electronic Patient Record System, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.

The Team Administrator will undertake general office duties.
They will answer and manage calls from health and social care professionals within the Acute Trust.
They will enter new referrals and process completed referrals / assessments on the Electronic Patient Record System, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Ensuring GP letters are sent in a timely manner via the electronic system.
Minute taking of team meetings and distribution of agendas / minutes.
Ordering resources for the team and maintaining stock levels.
Processing emails within the admin inbox.
Dealing with internal and external mail.
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
English and Maths ECDL or equivalent experience

NVQ in Business Administration / Customer Service Typewriting qualification

Administration background Experience of working within a busy office environment
