About our Adult Specialist Care Services

Our specialist adult care services in Northampton, alongside Broom and Winslow services, provide tailored support for individuals with complex needs, such as learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments, and epilepsy. Our services are designed to offer personalised care within safe, supportive environments that encourage independence and community involvement.

Main duties of the job

The Role We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager for our supported living services in the Northamptonshire. You will work closely with our Adult Specialist Care Division leadership team comprising the Service Director, and Associate Director of Nursing to lead and uphold high standards of care and governance.

As the Registered Manager, you will be legally responsible for ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act and Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations. Your role will be crucial in driving service excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and maintaining high governance standards to achieve outstanding CQC ratings.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coach teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and governance standards. Promote a positive, engaging, and service-user-focused culture across all services. Ensure effective, consistent, and efficient care delivery, driving service improvements and maintaining high governance standards. Manage referrals, admissions, and discharge plans to ensure smooth transitions for service users. Oversee resource and workforce planning, maintaining safe staffing levels and ensuring compliance with CQC staffing standards. Manage resources within budget, meeting financial targets and key performance indicators.

You will thrive in a role that challenges you to lead change, maintain regulatory compliance, and deliver outstanding care. It would also be advantageous for the individual to be BSL trained although not essential and we would welcome applications from the deaf community who have the right level of management experience and qualifications as well as drive to improve services too.

Qualifications Essential

Must have NVQ Level 5 in Management (or equivalent)

Experience Essential

Must have experience working as a CQC Registered Manager within a complex community based service

Desirable

It is desirable that you have experience working within Learning Disability or deaf services It would also be advantageous for the individual to be BSL trained although not essential
