Job summary

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, approachable, and proactive Business Support Administrator to join our dynamic Community Nursing Services, based at St Mary's Community Campus, Portsmouth.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Business Support team. You will be confident working both independently and collaboratively, able to prioritise effectively in a busy environment, and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.

Please note this post is part time 15 hours per week.

At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this post. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.

Main duties of the job

To provide comprehensive Administration and Secretarial support to the service.

The post holder will be responsible for the organisation of their own workload and delegated decisions/actions, as deemed appropriate by the Business Support Team Lead.

The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high quality customer care is at the heart of this role.

They will need to ensure a friendly and professional ethos within the team/department for patients.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

GCSEs at grade C 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths. NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent. Basic IT qualification or demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Evidence of continued professional development relevant to an administrative role.

Desirable

NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent. Training in NHS systems or medical terminology.
