You will contribute to patient assessments and the planning, delivery, and evaluation of recovery-focused care. This includes supporting individuals with daily living needs, promoting independence, and ensuring care is delivered with dignity, safety, and respect.
Key duties include administering medications within NMC and Trust guidelines, monitoring and recording clinical observations (e.g. NEWS, BP, pulse, temperature), and carrying out clinical procedures such as venepuncture and ECGs. You will maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate effectively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will demonstrate knowledge of consent, safeguarding, and relevant legislation (Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act), ensuring these principles are applied in practice.
