This position is perfect for individuals who are keen to work on the frontline, are passionate about security and possess strong interpersonal skills.
The appointed application will play a pivotol role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Main duties of the job
The Security / Parking Team provide a comprehensive car park and security service to the Hospital and Satellite sites in all weather and conditions.
In this front line service you will need to be polite, helpful, tactful but firm and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
If successful, you will have a great deal of contact with staff, visitors and members of the public, directing drivers to car parking spaces, clearing entrances for fire calls, responding to all security issues and answering general enquiries from our patients and visitors; so a multi task approach is essential.

Education Essential
GCSE or Equivalent
Desirable
A level
Security and Car Parking Systems Essential
Working knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems Working knowledge of car parking systems including ANPR
Desirable
Experience with working with other systems, such as parking enforcement
Experience Essential
Previous experience in a similar role Dealing with memebrs of the public Experience with physical restraint
Desirable
PMVA level 2 training Knowledge of DoLS and MCA framework working for the NHS
