We have opportunities available across various localities within the county, offering flexibility in base location depending on service need and candidate preference with a requirement to cover Cornwall and the Isles of Scillys.

Main duties of the job

This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.

To undertake a clinical lead role in Palliative Care and Cancer within the Community Rehabilitation Team.To provide a high standard physiotherapy service, performing advanced assessments of patients including those with highly complex presentations and formulating a diagnosis and treatment planwhich is carried out as an autonomous practitioner.

Person Specification

Education and Qualifications Essential

Current professional registration - HCPC, CSP Professional qualification - Physiotherapy Evidence of further formal study in Advanced Clinical Practice eg. Post graduate qualifications(Post Grad Certificate/Diploma/MSc/Non-Medical Prescribing) Perform advanced assessment of patients including those with unpredictable, varied and highly complex presentations.

Skills and Aptitude Essential

Able to work in highly stressful situations including the ability to manage distressing and highly emotive situations successfully (eg. Working with people recently diagnosed with life changing conditions).
