Are you an experienced Cardiac Physiologist with a passion for Echocardiography and a desire to combine an exciting career opportunity with an exceptional quality of life?
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 Cardiac Physiologists specialising in Echocardiography to join our growing non-invasive cardiology team in beautiful North Devon. With three whole-time equivalent posts available, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of cardiac diagnostics across both North Devon District Hospital and our soon-to-open Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC).

Our department is progressive, supportive, and expanding. We provide a broad and highly specialised range of non-invasive cardiac investigations, offering opportunities to develop and maintain advanced skills in:
Adult transthoracic echocardiography Stress echocardiography Heart Valve Clinic (HVC) services Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) diagnostics Paediatric echocardiography Physiologist led bubble and contrast echocardiography Paediatric cardiac diagnostics Ambulatory monitoring and broader non-invasive cardiology servicesWe are also excited to be developing services further, with plans to introduce a local bradycardia pacing service in North Devon, creating additional opportunities for service development, innovation, and professional growth.
This is an ideal role for an experienced physiologist who wants to work at an advanced level while contributing to the development of modern, patient-focused diagnostics in a friendly and collaborative environment.
About You
You will be:
BSE accredited (or equivalent) in Echocardiography Registered with RCCP, AHCS, or equivalent professional body At least 1-year experience in independent echocardiography practice Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care Keen to contribute to service development and team training A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skillsExperience in specialist areas such as stress echo, ACHD, or paediatric imaging would be welcomed, but candidates with a strong echocardiography background and enthusiasm for development are encouraged to apply.
