About this role

Job summary

The Deputy Matron will support the Clinical Matron in the delivery of safe, high-quality, efficient clinical services, ensuring a strong ethos of patient centred care through clinical leadership, governance, and workforce development and capability across all service areas.

We are looking for someone to join us working 22.5 hours flexibly across the the week. This will involve a mixture of hours spent working in our office and visiting our clinics. Please see our website for the full list of locations.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide day-to-day operational and professional leadership to clinical teams, promote continuous improvement in patient care, facilitate a positive environment in the workplace where staff development is encouraged and supported. and ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and organisational standards.

The role combines clinical leadership, service oversight, workforce development and governance, acting as a key deputy to the Clinical Matron and providing leadership across services.

Formerly GP Care, Cohese Healthcare works in collaboration with the NHS and partner organisations to provide a range of diagnostic and treatment services in community settings within the Southwest Region. We employ a range of clinical health care and support staff including Sonographers; Registered Nurses; Vascular Scientists and Health Care Assistants and a range of corporate support staff. We have sub-contract arrangements for Consultant Urologists to provide medical input to our urology services.
