Job summary
We are looking to appoint a salaried GP on an a fixed term contract for 8 months to join our practice situated in the heart of Covent Garden
2-3 sessions per week working on Tuesday and ThursdaySalary £11,500 per sessionAccess to NHS Pension SchemeFriendly and supportive clinical and admin teamInterview Dates 16th July and 27th July with some flexibilityWe offer comprehensive NHS primary care services and we are looking for a committed, dedicated and patient focused GP to join our friendly and forward thinking team.
Main duties of the job
Undertake all duties associated with the role of a General Practitioner required by the GMS contractSupport and contribute to the development of practice clinical procedures and protocols Support and contribute to QOF and local enhanced service targets Accurate and timely input of patient data on the clinical system Carrying out clinical audits as appropriate Completion of reports for solicitors, insurance companies and othersProcessing of clinical administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other clinical tasks Take an active role in contributing to practice meetings Contribute to the development and improvement of the practice.

We are a forward thinking practice with a growing, diverse inner city patient population of 5300. We are a member of the West End & Marylebone PCN, and GP Federation Healthcare Central London.
Our current team comprises of
1 GP partner4 GPs 1 Practice Nurse 1 Practice Manager 1 Reception Manager4 Receptionists 2 GPAs
As part of the PCN we also have attached to the practice
Clinicial Pharmacist Care navigator First Contact PhysioHealth and Well being coach

Job description Job responsibilities
The post holder will deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Responsibilities will include:
Consultation sessions including face to face and telephone
Clinical administration
Attend, educational, multidisciplinary, practice and clinical meetings
Attend training and events organised by the practice and the ICB/Federation
Participate in an annual performance review
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
GMC registered Qualified General Practitioner Registered on NHS performer list Experience using System One
Desirable
Good understanding of GMS contract requirements. Experience and understanding of QoF and Local Enhanced Services
