Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an experienced Support Workerto join our team working at Cygnet Willow House.
Youll be working42 hours a week(days and nights from 07:45am/pm until 08:00pm/am, includingalternative weekends),making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care atCygnet Willow House.
Willow House is a specialist residential service with nursing for adults with learning disabilities complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.
We are looking for someone who is:
Driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives Experienced for 1 year plus in a support setting working with learning disabilities and mental health An excellent communicator and a good team player Caring and understanding with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence
Your day-to-day
Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way Assist with medical & welfare needs Report on medical & ; welfare needs as required Safeguard all patients Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
