Job summary
Shaftesbury Medical Centre is looking to recruit Salaried GP for 4 - 6 sessions per week
The post-holder is expected to carry out the full range of GP duties within primary care, including conducting consultations (face-to-face, telephone, video, and online), managing duty GP responsibilities, performing home visits, completing mother and baby checks, handling prescriptions, reviewing results and correspondence, and maintaining timely clinical administration.
Main duties of the job
Participating in meeting and completing QOF targets. Participating and assisting with Prescribing Audits. Participating and assisting with Enhanced/LIS Services. When required Participate in Extended Hours Rota following mutual agreement Assisting with the supervision and support of Medical Students, GP Trainees, Physician Associate, ANP, Clinical Pharmacist. Any other reasonable role to support the Practice and Partners Attendance of Practice Meetings Attendance of Clinical Meetings

Job description Job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include assessing and managing patients with undifferentiated conditions, identifying disease risks, developing care plans, providing health education and counselling, making autonomous clinical decisions, referring patients appropriately, and keeping accurate clinical records. The role also involves prescribing in line with practice and ICB guidelines, supporting audits, and undertaking other routine GP responsibilities. Additional duties may include assisting with private medical reports/examinations and participating in ward rounds for residential or nursing home patients when required.
