Salaried GP Opportunity (6-7 Sessions)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly, high-performing practice for 6-7 clinical sessions per week. Applications are welcomed from both experienced GPs and those recently qualified.
Main duties of the job
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the Practice populationGeneric prescribing adhering to local and national guidanceEffective management of long-term conditions Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasksMaintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidanceWorking collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workloadContribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practiceAttend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required m. Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training, financial management and HR revalidation process Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice teamReview and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times

List size: approximately 11,000 patients. 5 partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 2 Nurses, Pharmacist, Physio
The practice operates a Total Triage model, offering a balanced mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations.

6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave (pro rata), with flexibility to use these interchangeably.

Conduct consultations via face-to-face, telephone, or online appointments, including home visits where appropriate Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, managing undifferentiated presentations and chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes Prescribe medications safely in line with practice formulary and national guidelines Maintain accurate, timely patient records using Emis Web Provide preventative care, health education, and lifestyle counselling to support long-term wellness Respond to medical problems, including emergencies, within clinical competence
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Completion of GP Specialty Training (CCT) or within 6 months of obtaining it Full registration with the GMC (General Medical Council) Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
