Job summary
The Old Fletton Surgery is seeking to appoint a salaried General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP to work within a patient-focused environment that values continuity of care and high-quality clinical practice.
Main duties of the job
Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations (face-to-face and telephone as clinically appropriate) Manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions Provide appropriate prescribing, investigations, and referrals Ensure safe and effective clinical decision-making and safety-netting Maintain accurate and timely clinical records Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team Participate in clinical meetings and practice development activities

We are a friendly, well-established, well-organised supportive practice providing a comprehensive range of GP Services. We pride ourselves in providing a high quality of care in a supportive team environment. We have an excellent team of nurses, healthcare assistants and administrative staff.
We are a well-established 7 Partner (3 whole time 4 part-time) GMS part-dispensing practice serving a population of 13,200 patients situated in a suburban area of Peterborough. We also have one salaried GP.

Experience Essential
GMC registered general practitioner Inclusion on the NHS Performers List Good clinical and consultation skills Ability to manage a varied workload independently Commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
Experience working in duty/urgent care clinics Previous experience in UK general practice Familiarity with SystmOne
