Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Medicines Management Pharmacy Assistants to join our team, based at Herts and Essex rehab ward (Bishops Stortford). We are offering 24 hours per week, ideally covering Monday to Friday on flexible hours.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with a ward-based Pharmacist and the ward nursing team to assist in the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients within the Trust through the provision of a safe, efficient, and cost-effective medicines management programme.
The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and able to work on their own, whilst also integrating into a well-established team. You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills together with a good working knowledge of hospital pharmacy and primary care.Detailed duties are stated in the job description document.
The successful candidate must have experience of working in a clinical setting with a multidisciplinary team. Computer literacy is essential and experience with SystmOne is desirable. The role will also be supported by a full training package, according to needs.

Qualifications and Training Essential
Pharmacy services Assistant apprenticeship or equivalent to meet the requirements of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Evidence of numeracy and literacy at level 1 Level 2 qualification/GCSE higher pass or above including maths, English and a science, or equivalent qualifications, or work experience that demonstrates comparable ability in a similar field.
