We are a well-established, patient focused, friendly and supportive practice. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated salaried GP for 4 - 6 sessions a week.
We have a very supportive clinical and administrative team.
- High achieving QOF Practice with list size 10,500
- Currently 3 Partners and 2 salaried GPs
- Fully active member of our local PCN with opportunities to take on various responsibilities.
- EMIS web, Electronic prescribing, Accurx and DOCMAN 10.
- CQC Rating: Good
- Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience).
- NHS pension enrolment
- 6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave p.a.

Main duties of the job
Provide high-quality, patient-centred clinical care to the practice population.Undertake a combination of face-to-face and telephone consultations, assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.Participate in the practice duty doctor rota, managing daily triage requests and providing timely clinical assessment and advice.Conduct home visits for housebound patients when clinically appropriate.Undertake occasional visits to local nursing homes and residential schools as required.Process and action clinical correspondence, investigations, and results using EMIS and Docman systems.Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and complete patient records in accordance with GMC and practice standards.Prescribe safely and cost-effectively in line with local and national guidance.Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team,Participate in clinical meetings, significant event reviews, safeguarding processes, and quality improvement activities.Contribute to the achievement of (QOF)Support the training and development of medical students, trainee doctors, and other healthcare professionals as part of the practice's role as a training practiceComply with all relevant practice policies, clinical governance requirements, and professional standardsUndertake all aspects of general practice work expected of a GP, including preventive care, health promotion, chronic disease management, and management of urgent and routine clinical presentations.
About us
Our practice provides primary care services to approximately 10,500 patients across two surgery sites. We are led by three GP partners and are supported by a multidisciplinary clinical team, including a Paramedic Practitioner, an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), and a dedicated nursing team.
As a training practice, we are committed to supporting the development of future healthcare professionals and regularly provide training opportunities within the practice. Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Essential Qualifications Fully qualified General Practitioner. Current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise. Inclusion on the NHS England Performers List. MRCGP qualification or equivalent. Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Eligible to work in the UK. Essential Experience and Skills Experience of working in UK General Practice. Ability to manage a broad range of clinical presentations safely and effectively. Competent in face-to-face, telephone, and remote consultations. Experience of clinical triage and urgent care management. Ability to undertake home visits when required. Proficient in maintaining accurate clinical records and managing clinical correspondence. Good IT skills, including experience of using electronic patient record systems (EMIS experience desirable). Understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding, and information governance requirements. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
