Job summary
The purpose of this role is to provide project management expertise to the development of innovation projects across the D4D consortium and theme management expertise to ensure theme delivery against agreed milestones, deliverables and objectives. The postholder will work within a team to ensure maximum operational efficiency in the selection and execution of high impact research and innovation projects.
Main duties of the job
Work closely with the Head of Operations to identify and develop projects in accordance with the overarching aims of D4D Liaise closely with the D4D Theme Leads and Project Leads to ensure effective execution and delivery of projects Work with patients and the public to shape our aim to establish D4D as a national exemplar for meaningful public partnerships and embed research inclusion in HealthTech research and innovation Provide Project Management support for the implementation of an ongoing operational management of the D4D portfolio, including tracking deliverables and managing timelines Support engagement with relevant external stakeholders and partners specific to Theme based objectives Support the development and maintenance of Theme specific resources, tools and databases across D4D Monitor and report on Theme based objectives, provide regular updates to the Theme Leads and D4Ds Leadership Team
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of eighteen (18) months due to the post being externally funded. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the ongoing source of the external funding and the requirement for the post to be maintained.
Please note all existing NHS staff will only be considered on a secondment basis. This must first be agreed with your current line manager.
