About this role

Job summary

The post-holder will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Hysteroscopy Department based at the Women Centre, Crawley Hospital. This will involve ensuring the smooth running of the hysteroscopy outpatient clinics under the service management of the Service Delivery Manager for Gynaecology.

The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the Hysteroscopy service and Colposcopy service (in the absence of the Colposcopy Admin Coordinator), for ensuring that all patients' appointments are booked in a timely manner and results are received from the tests requested from the clinicians/laboratory to be in turn uploaded onto the relevant database. This will involve supporting the Hysteroscopy Lead Nurse and FDS Nurse for managing all the failsafe systems so that women who are seen in the hysteroscopy service are either followed up or discharged back to the referrer. This will also involve sending letters to patients who do not attend (DNA) appointments of non-responders from the pending list.
