Senior Radiographer Band 6 Vacancy - Permanent
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, ambitious and motivated Rotational Senior Radiographer (Band 6) for Core Services. The post holder will be required to rotate through general x-ray, fluoroscopy, CT and theatres and they will participate in the delivery of an Agenda for change 24/7, 365 service.
This Position will be based at St. Bartholomew's Hospital which is in the heart of the City of London- St. Paul's.

Main duties of the job
We offer a full range of local and specialist services, which includes centres for the treatment of cancer, heart conditions, fertility, endocrinology and sexual health. The hospital includes the site of the new state-of-the-art Barts Heart Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Europe's largest specialised cardiovascular centre. The appropriate candidate will have good general radiographic experience, be resilient, flexible and able to demonstrate leadership and clinical supervision skills. The post holder will work closely with the Clinical, Radiographic and managerial teams.
Applicants for all posts above must hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or the Diploma of the College of Radiographers and HCPC registration.

Qualifications Essential
oBSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers, or equivalents oHealth and Care Professions Council Registration oEvidence of career-long commitment to CPD
Desirable
oStudent Clinical Assessors Course oCollege of Radiographers accredited IV cannulation course oPostgraduate study in a relevant area
Experience Essential
oUp to date knowledge of general imaging techniques oAble to work unsupervised oAwareness of clinical governance issues in relation to patient care oUnderstanding of factors affecting service throughput and quality oCompletion of preceptorship oExperience of on-call and out of hours roster
Desirable
oGreater than 18 months post-graduation experience. oCT Radiography experience. oPrevious experience as Band 6 radiographer oExperience of training staff and students oDemonstrates ongoing CPD.
Knowledge/Skills Essential
