The Imaging Department at Newham University Hospital, Barts Health have an exciting career development opportunity to become a Band 5 Radiographer in our team. This is a key role within the Imaging Department, the post holder will have a pivotal role in supporting the service to meet its activity and quality improvement priorities, diagnostic and cancer performance standards and strategic development of the service.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities
Perform a range of diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and radiation safety regulations. Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care and ensure a positive patient experience. Maintain high standards of image quality and professional practice. Work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team. Participate in quality assurance, audit, and service improvement activities. Contribute to the delivery of a safe and efficient imaging service, including shift and weekend working as required (participate in the delivery of a 24/7, 365 service).
