Job summary

We are seeking an inspirational Head of Quality and Governance to provide visible, credible and compassionate clinical leadership across our Primary Care sub-division. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced registered dental professional who is passionate about quality, safety and governance, and who thrives on working at both strategic and frontline levels. You will play a pivotal role in shaping high quality, recovery focused and person centred services, ensuring the very best outcomes for the people who use our services and for our staff.

You will be: A registered nurse, educated to Masters level or equivalent experience

Main duties of the job

As Head of Quality and Governance, you will:

*Lead on clinical quality, governance and professional standards across Primary Care services

*Provide hands on clinical leadership, supervision and expert support in complex cases

*Champion learning from incidents, complaints and patient feedback to drive continuous improvement

*Embed national, regulatory and best practice standards, including CQC and safeguarding requirements

*Work collaboratively across the Trust, Primary Care Networks, ICBs and local authorities

*Support and develop the Primary Care workforce, including education, career pathways and professional registration

*Promote a culture of openness, compassion, accountability and continuous improvement

*Contribute to strategic planning, service transformation, research and innovation

*Deputise for the Director of Quality and Professions as required

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Registered Professional with HCPC, NMC, Social Work England or Master's qualification or equivalent
