Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Band 4 Nurse Associate to join our Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) Unit on 2 North A at the Royal Free Hospital.This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist nurse-led oncology service that delivers high-quality, safe and personalised care to patients receiving complex SACT treatments.
The post holder will support the delivery of high-standard patient care, working alongside experienced SACT nurses, pharmacists, consultants, clinical trial teams and wider MDT colleagues.
Main duties of the job
Provide compassionate, safe and effective care to patients receiving SACTSupport registered SACT nurses in patient preparation, monitoring and post-treatment careContribute to maintaining safety standards, including escalation of concerns and early recognition of deteriorationWork collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient careMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationParticipate in quality improvement, patient experience initiatives and service developmentUphold Trust values and contribute to a positive team culture
