An exciting opportunity has arisen for a post as the Clinical Manager of the Integrated Sexual Health Services based at Broad Street Plaza in Halifax
We provide a variety of clinics, including booked appointments, walking services, procedure clinics, and a young persons clinic
We have a successful outreach programme including offering services closer to home and ensuring vulnerable patients can access our services
We provide contraception, sexually transmitted infection screening, heath education, patient support and health promotion to the patients of Calderdale and Huddersfield
You would be responsible for leading a team of specialist nurses and health care professionals and the administration team
Main duties of the job
You will be a professional role model and skilled practitioner responsible for all aspects of patient care and patient experience leading and coordinating the sexual health team.
You will provide expert guidance and clinical supervision and ensure that the sexual health and HIV service delivery is within the trusts procedures and guidelines

Responsible for the operational management of the Integrated Sexual Health Services on a day-to-day basis To provide expert guidance and clinical supervision aiding problem solving and decision making
To act as an innovative and enthusiastic role model, providing leadership, guidance, and advice to staff on operational and professional issues. To promote an open, honest, and transparent culture
To ensure all nursing care is delivered in accordance with Trust procedures, guidelines and policy to ensure that the policies and procedures are understood and adhered to by all members of the department

First Level Registered General Nurse Mentorship qualification/experience Evidence of Teaching and Assessing qualification/experience

Degree in Health Care
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE Essential
Should have experience in an Sexual Health setting Knowledge skills and competency working at senior nurse level Evidence of teaching experience Experience specifically in Sexual Health nursing Willingness to undertake further personal and professional development/training Must be highly computer literate

Evidence in taking responsibility and managing patients at different points through their journey Experience of implementing policies and procedures Evidence of developing nursing practice within a clinical outpatient setting
