Act as the bridge between legal language and product understanding, distilling legal documents into clear, neutral requirement documents that inform company-wide decision-making.
You'll bring curiosity, healthy scepticism, precision, and a deep respect for the balance between legal, technical, and business needs.
This role would suit an experienced intermediate level Business Analyst.
What you’ll be doing
Analyse legal texts and extract relevant compliance excerptsApply critical thinking to ensure actions are necessary and proportionateSupport the Senior Business Analyst byMonitoring the global compliance landscapeContributing to the product compliance roadmapReviewing new products and features for compliance impactsCreate concise, neutral interpretation documents for internal review: Pair key legal excerpts with interpretations to enable traceability and inputWork with legal and subject matter experts to refine interpretationsWork with subject matter experts to understand current product capabilities Promotes collaboration that respects a balance of all business demands Achieve goals with the other Business Analysts, Engineers, Product Managers and Architects in particular to ensure alignment across legal, product, and engineering perspectives.Works closely with other BAs on integrations and other changes e.g. sales channelsCollaborates with regulatory bodies, third parties and timelines.Requirements

This is a hybrid role with a home and office-based split, requiring regular weekly (2 days per week) attendance in the Cape Town office.
